Aloo Chatpata

Ingredients

  • ½ kg Potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon Cumin seeds
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Chat masala
  • ½ teaspoon kashmiri chilli powder
  • ½ teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 lemon’s juice
  • Oil
  • Some fresh coriander leaves

Instructions

 1. Boil the potatoes in a bowl / pressure cook until the first whistle. Do not boil more. Once cooled, peeled the potatoes and keep it aside.

2. Take a pan and roast kashmiri chilli powder, cumin seeds, on medium to low flame for 2 minutes. Once cool, powder the mixture.

3. Cut the potatoes and deep fry the diced potato chunks until golden brown and crispy.

4. Season it with salt, chaat masala, lemon juice, coriander leaves and finally the roasted masala powder.

5. Toss the potatoes until well combined and well coated with all the spices.

6. Munch onto your tasty Aloo Chatpata!
